'Observers who consciously or unconsciously resist revolutionary change will blur the distinction between utopias and ideologies, regarding them as equally unrealizable.’

Dolores Hayden, 'Seven American Utopias', 1979

Our movement aims to be a seed for change that we believe is necessary for the world.

World hunger, human rights violation, inequality, pollution of nature.

We believe it is necessary to right these injustices, and we crave to do so by building a new model of society, re-establishing ("re-pristinating") a healthy and ethical equilibrium between mankind and the rest of nature and, at an inner level, between mankind's abilities and moral values.

This society model is inspired by Burning Man, a social experiment where 70,000 people gather annually where they live and think differently for a week.

We truly believe that with freedom, human connection, inner-self understanding, creativity, conscious and balanced lifestyle, favoring the spiritual world above the material world,  mutual understanding, and respect for others and for nature, we would be happier and bring our minds and body to a higher level of consciousness. This combination of factors are essential not only to live happier and in a sustainable way, but also to help others understand that a different lifestyle is not only possible, but that is the right thing to do!

The Pristine Movement is a community based on pristine actions, organized on the following basic principles:

Semi-Radical inclusion

To be a part of our community you have to be: Able to teach, willing to learn, with good intentions.

The Pristine Movement is devoted to acts of gift giving. The value of a gift is unconditional. Gifting does not contemplate a return or an exchange for something of equal value.

Environment respect
Our community respects the environment: we aim to leave everything better than how we found it.

Technology promotion
We strongly encourage the use of technology as a labor saving device and way to empower life.

Our community is constantly interacting both with the local community and the outer world.

Radical self-reliance and self-expression
The Pristine Movement encourages the individual to discover, exercise and rely on their inner resources. Self-expression arises from the unique gifts of any individual.

Mandatory participation
Our community is committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation.
